London-based jazz singer Taylor Notcutt started her music career at the age of 7. After receiving vocal coaching from Nia Lynn, Taylor developed a passion for jazz, and was shortly afterwards awarded a place on the BMus Course to study jazz voice at Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music and Dance.
About the school
Liz Burville Performing Arts has been training children and young people in Dance, Musical Theatre, Drama and Singing for over 30 years. The fully equipped studios in Bexley have been the home to many successful professional performers and teachers.
Liz Burville Performing Arts was, until very recently, under the personal supervision of Teacher/Choreographer and ISTD and Trinity Guildhall Examiner Liz Burville. Liz first opened her school with less than 30 pupils on the register and by the time Liz had been open a few years, her school had over 200 pupils on the books.
In 2014, Liz fell ill and after a four year battle with cancer, lost her fight on 1st January 2018.
She left her school in the very capable hands of award winning choreographer Julia Pritchett who is the Artistic Director, Angela Stokes, Financial and Business Director and her husband Stuart Gain.
Thirty two years on and with many ex-pupils now performing and teaching in their own right, the school looks set to continue for another 30 years.

In recent years we have performed for passengers on luxury cruise liners as well as competing in Dance Excellence in Hollywood LA, no less than three times. On all three occasions, we came home with several awards for our performances. In 2011, 2014 and 2017, we competed in Disneyland, Paris at the International Festival of Dance and Performing Arts. Our latest trip in 2017 resulted in us being awarded the Grand Champions of the Competition.
Children are entered for ISTD exams in Ballet, Tap and Modern and LAMDA exams for Drama. We are very proud of our children who have achieved some outstanding examination results over the years.
